Chickens raised on pasture in the outdoors the way chickens should be raised. At Briar Rose Farm we don't use medicated feeds or hormones. In order to avoid harsh weather conditions like extreme summer heat or winter rainfall, we only raise pasture poultry in the spring and summer. With a limited growing season comes a limited supply and we recommend deposits for orders of 5 or more. Harvested out chickens weigh between 4 and 7 pounds and are $5 per pound.
